Higher Precision

Higher Precision has the worst customer service I’ve seen. I bought 2 items from them on September 2024 and only 1 item was shipped to me on January 2025 (understandable, the manufacturer had the items on back order and took a long time to get shipped). However, I reached out to them on 2/11/2025 asking if I could just get store credit for the item that wasn’t shipped to me and they didn’t provide a solid answer. The response was “let me check.” No refund, no store credit, and no item was shipped. I kept following up on the emails I had sent but nothing was resolved. Nick Brackett just kept saying he’d email me with info but never did. On 2/28/2025 Mike Kelly was involved in the back-and-forth emails between Nick and I. Mike claimed that my order had already been shipped. I sent him a copy of the packing slip that proves that only 1 item was shipped and both Nick and Mike simply stopped responding to my emails. On 3/6/2025, after not getting anything resolved. I decided to start a live chat with one of their customers service reps. I explained what the issue was and the rep’s response was “let me check now”. Then he didn’t type anything else, so my chat box was closed dues to inactivity. I reopened the chat, only to get a rude response from the same rep I was chatting with earlier. He said he had already told me he was messaging the account team to find the status when he hadn’t even mentioned any of that. I have attached photos of my packing slip and screen shots of my chat box so you can see this is true. The only reason why I’m giving Higher Precision a 1 star rating is because zero is not an option. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone. Shop from All industrial, they have competitive pricing and good customer support.

After trying to return an item, I had called higher precision and Nick hung up on me. I tried reaching out several times via Email and was ignored and never received a response. This was over the course of a month that I was simply trying to return one item that I did not need. Nicks customer service was horrible, myself and the company I work for will no longer do business with them. I would not recommend going through higher precision for your gage needs.

They are lucky that FOR NOW they are the only game in town for these type of measurement tools. Service and shipping help is NON EXISTANT but damn, they’ll process your order RIGHT AWAY.

I bought here because of the good price. Had a small issue with the order getting lost but, it is all good now and it was the right part. Thanks Nick nice job! Great company!

The worst sales team I have worked with in a long time. Rude and unwilling to provide support and direction. Nick Brackett was very unhelpful and provided zero suggestions. If you did not know exactly what you wanted but had a general idea instead of suggesting items they just said come back when you know. Sales and customer relationships do not seem to be their priority. Definitely using an alternate company.

I didn't buy anything, but these guys from their chat line saved one of my CNC machinist $200 by helping us with information about Brown & Sharpe Warranty. So 5 stars for helping a customer out, even if they didn't buy from them. Thank you Higher Precision, you guys are are great!

Quick to pick up the phone and very helpful with getting an order through.
