Worst customer service of anywhere I’ve ever had to deal with. I’ve been service with them for over seven years never missed a payment and never been late. I am set up on auto pay and something happened where the payment didn’t go through and they showed up to turn my water off. I told him there must’ve been a mistake, the company immediately and made the payment. The gentleman left that was there to turn the water off and heard me make the payment only to return. I walked inside and water. My husband called back up there and was treated very disrespectfully and they said they would get someone out there at some point . That is absolutely ridiculous. They were just after the $50 fee to turn off and turn off. All they had to do was make a phone call.

30$ connect fee for water that was already connected. Just changing the name on the bill. Just some made up fee to rob the tax payers. Nothing but terrible service from these people.

These people are stuck in the past. Website is terrible, can't do anything over the phone. One time they'll shut off my water because my neighbor didn't pay their bill.

I had a leak at the water meter in my front yard and called it in on the emergency line. Water was really bubbling out like a mini river. Wayne Water districts were really helpful from start to finish. Marcus was out at my house in 15 minutes and had it all dug up, repaired and back to like new in no time. He's awesome!

Pay your bill on time they'll cut it off without contacting you. Their customer support is very helpful and nice though.

This is one of the most caring and sincere utility companies that I have ever had to deal with. A few months after my husband and I moved here seven years ago, they called us to let us know that we had an unusually high water bill. As a courtesy, they wanted to inform us so that we would not be alarmed when the payment was posted to our account. Also, a year ago, my mother had a water leak and her bill was over $300. We sent them a copy of the repair receipt, and they credited her account. In my opinion, they care about the customers.

Not receiving bills. I went online to pay my October bill an error message popped up the money is taken out of my bank but the bill doesn't showed paid. I called to notify them what happened and was threatened with a late fee and an insult. I'll be there Friday and I want my bill credited with the proof of the funds being removed from my bank. Whoever answered the phones at 8:30am Oct 17th needs proper etiquette and manners. Horrible service.

For the third time since we moved to Wayne County, our water has been shutoff for late payment. However, I have yet to receive a bill or a late notice. Now I have to pay an extra 50 bucks for a late 25 dollar bill when they have a $100 deposit. We never pay bills late, ever. All of our other bills are set to pay automatically but we can't do that with the water company. No emails, no texts. Just water shut off. This is honestly the biggest frustration living here. It's embarrassing how bad the water company is.

We had autopay set up. It didn't go through for some reason and they cut off our water. They disconnected it after 4 pm and their office closes at 5! We called to pay it and we couldn't because the system shuts down until 7pm! So we got it paid at 7 and they came out at 730ish to reconnect it. After paying 50 bucks extra to have it reconnected they now want to charge another 70 for the late hour reconnection. (So 120 total) Uh why didn't they mention that before? If that's the case we would have had it reconnected the next day. Sounds to me like you gotta eat that 70 bucks for your mistake. Also, these robbers charge people to connect their water to new homes where there's already water connected! Just robbing people blind. No better than duke energy.
