The Jive Turkey

I've been wanting to get food here for a while because the baked potatoes look amazing. It was what I was planning on ordering, but I saw they were having a $5 sandwich special, and I thought it was a good opportunity to try it. I didn't get what I ordered. I told him about the ad on Facebook and showed him a photo of what I wanted since I didn't know its name. The bread on one of the items I ordered was very soggy and burnt on the other side. The meat tasted strongly of vinegar. The guy who delivered it was very nice, although when I told him I'd been overcharged and showed him the ad, he told me what I ordered wasn't on the $5 special. My mistake was also not opening my food before leaving. I shared my feelings a few days later with a private message on the Facebook page, but they left me on read. Too bad, I don't think I'll come back, although it really looks delicious. Judging by the photos of what I got vs. the promotion.

First timer & 10/10 highly recommend! From initial order to receiving my food their service was smooth, professional, accommodating, and quick. I drank most of my “Juice Juice” punch while waiting cause it was that good! My order of the Alfredo bowl came hot, fresh, and GREAT to taste. I will definitely be returning to support this local establishment very soon, if not tomorrow 😅👏🏾🙌🏾 .

This is the first time that my husband and I ordered from here, but I’ve had several DoorDash orders from here. Jive Turkey does not have a dine-in, but their little takeout place is very tiny, but mighty. Mighty in that when you order from here, you get FLAVOR - talk about SOUL food. So good! I would definitely recommend their catfish plate, pork chops, and the alfredo bowl, but I’ve heard good things about their burgers and sandwiches too.

There was a sticker in my sandwich… Also they ran out of turkey legs towards closing. Not too big of deal but… my family and I were expecting more from a “soul food” restaurant. The front staff is friendly though. Solid 2 stars.

Stopped in during a road trip. A bit of a wait but oh man the breading alone is worth it. Got a fish sandwich and steak sandwich, plus fresh sweet tea.

Absolutely delicious food! The fish basket was a huge portion of crispy and fresh catfish and fries. The supafly fries were the perfect combination of crunchy fries and cheesy sauce. Juice juice was a sweet and tangy strawberry lemonade that can’t be missed. The service was superb. We will be back to try the turkey legs!

My best friend and I went to try something different in MP and landed here. We had no idea what we wanted and had them surprise us and they did a fantastic job! They were all so nice and they were very willing to help us pick something! Their menu is different but the perfect different for when you get tired of regular food lol. 10/10 overall! Food was fantastic and can’t forget about their juice juice!

Do not miss this place! The food is outstanding and the service is amazing!
