Called 3 times to schedule an appointment for a quote to have some electrical work done to install some outdoor lighting. Each time, I'm told Ray will call me back. That never happens. Done chasing this company down and will find someone else.

Great experience! Came by and gave me a free estimate for moving my garage heat pump. Gave it to me straight (tough job, 2 days), but it went exactly as planned. Ray was very friendly and answered all my questions, including the morning the job started. Service techs were also friendly (and hard working!). Explained what they were doing, understood my concerns, and completed the job ahead of time and on budget. Left my garage in a cleaner state than when they found it. Everything they worked on looked amazing! Only area for improvement is phone communications - make sure you call them and confirm everything. Receptionist is friendly and will get you taken care of, but being pro-active leaves something to be desired.

In a time when there is so much happening my AC unit when bad and suffolk aheet metal helped me out and they when above and beyond just in case it was not the right part.thank you so much Mariah

Our compressor died on a Tuesday night and we had a new unit installed the following Friday. Adrian and the whole team at SSM didn’t give up and sourced and installed the equipment we needed. My family is grateful and ready to enjoy a cool weekend!

I think they are awful. The young guy that came to my house to give me a free estimate to replace my gas water heater was arrogant and did not know what he was talking about. I already knew I needed a replacement from previous companies that said it needed to be replaced because of where it was leaking from and the age of it, 11 years old. He came in said it did not need to be replaced, it needed an expansion tank and the company would get with me on how much it would cost for the expansion tank. I never heard from the company afterwards. Maybe just adding an expansion tank was not enough money for them to be bothered. This same guy took off my foam insulation that was on the cold and hot water tank pipes, put on the floor and left them there.He did not even have the decency to put them back on.I would never use this company again.

I've been a customer for over 20 years. Always found them reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. I gravitate towards small, family-owned businesses. They just seem to have more invested in doing things right and building relationships. They excel at doing both.

We had an old gas package unit in our house that was so old that it didn't even have a SEER rating. Met with Ray from Suffolk Sheet Metal and he suggested going to a dual-fuel package unit to help save on my gas bill. We agreed upon a price, but the day the unit was set to be installed, the Rheem manufacturer began to offer rebates. Even though we had a contract, SSM passed the rebate on to me as well as registering my equipment to ensure that my warranty was in place. Unit works great and i have seen a decrease in my utility bills. I have referred SSM to many friends & family members. Good experience with a highly reputable local company.

Called and spoke to Kat last week and made an appointment on Friday. Friday came and Ray Called me and told me he is the owner. He said the inspector in my house was wrong about what was code on new business versus grandfathered in. He told me not to waste my time or money by having him come out and look at my water heater. Also said he would provide a letter stating what was grandfathered in versus what is new construction. Now I get a call from Kat saying he told her today that he can't write the letter unless he sees the water heater. I understand that and that's why I made the appointment in the first place. What he should've said instead of wasting a half hour of my time on a phone call that was a bunch of baloney is he didn't want to come out on Friday as he was either too busy or didn't feel like working or whatever his reason was and reschedule the appointment instead of falsifying information. My time is valuable and wasting it on a business that doesn't care about his customers is unacceptable. I will forward this to all the realtors out there that are recommending this young man and let them know who they are recommending and the professionalism of this business.

These guys save my butt! Water heater went out and I was getting some crazy high quotes. They showed up, professional and reasonably priced. Got my water heater installed within 24 hours and saved the day. Thank you for your work and I will be using yall again.
